This statue is die struck which produces incredible detail. Most statues today are cast which results in less detail. The pieces are also bright-cut which is a hundred year old technique. Bright-cutting is hand engraving and cutting on some parts of the medal which produces slight variations of texture and color to the medal. Because these items have hand engraving performed, no two pieces are identical. These are truly works of art.
